This camp is a great idea, I only wish I had sent her in prior years. I think she will return again next year and try to get some of her friends from Palm Beach County to go with her. Good luck to the women's team this season. I. Garcia
July 11, 2005 i loved soccer camp! Everyone was very nice to me. Julie said she wanted to come some time to practice. I was wondering if we could be ball girls for some of your UM team games. I cant wait till the season starts. I have been practicing and stranthining my legs. your minni pro in traning, MAddy Olkes aka abby w. GO TEAM UM Well as you can tell Maddy had a great time at camp. She came home Saturday, had a three hour nap and has not stopped talking about the new friends she made, the pro team she watched practice, how Coach Tim told her she made his day when she made a great move, how nice Julie and Lindsay were to her (these girls were awesome, so thoughtfull and never made her feel bad about being homesick). She's been showing me her new soccer techiniques (in the house). I can't say enough about the camp and I can't thank you enough for looking out for her. Enjoy the rest of your summer and let me know what's going on with the team. Thank you again, Benay
July, 13, 2005 I just wanted to let you know how much my daughter Megan enjoyed the camp. Not only did she enjoy it, she came home daily very enthusiastic about what she's learned. I think alot of this had to do with her coach Tim Miller. She is bugging me about staying over next year, maybe I'll be ready for that. Anyway, thank you and you'll definitely see her again next year and hopefully with the rest of her travel team members. Sincerely, Sigrid Menocal
July 15, 2005 I am so glad you e-mailed me, I wanted to congratulate you and your staff,
the first camp session that my daughter Angie Isalgue attended was fantastic.
She absolutely loved it and learned so much, you guys are a class act. She
really wanted to go to your second session but she will be away with our church
at a youth camp in Virginia. Please keep us on your mailing list and informed
on any upcoming events. Good luck and keep up the good work, you all are truly
a blessing to these kids and have impacted their lives in more ways than you can
imagine.
Thanks again,
Karen Isalgue
July 21, 2005 First, I just wished to send a thank you to you and the staff. Ali had a great experience at the camp and although it was a little early for her to visit schools specifically for soccer, it was a tremendous experience for her to begin the process of getting away from home and understanding more of simply what college is all about. I could go on for 30 minutes about this (and I have to some), but let's just say it was a tremendously positive experience. Eric G.
July 27, 2005 Our daughter, Chloe Treaster, attended the Hurricane Soccer Camp, July 5-9,
2005. She loved every minute of it. My husband, Joe Treaster, and I were also
impressed and pleased and wanted to let you know that.
I am hoping that you and your staff would consider offering a longer
program, of two weeks, for soccer girls next July. We all felt that the
experience this year was too good to be cut short. If three days could hold such
sports training and wholesome social experiences, two weeks might be even more
productive and satisfying, at least for us.
We felt extremely pleased with the way the arriving parents were given the chance to meet the staff. In your orientation, you really made yourself and others available to us for introductions and questions. We left, feeling we had a grasp of how the program worked, who was supervising, how safety was insured, and what to expect, generally. We heartily approved the presence of female coaches along with males---so useful to provide role models to young female players. Our time on campus gave the chance to appreciate the marvelous facilities, fields, pool, and such a pleasing cafeteria with great variety of heathful foods, along with the ubiquitous pizza and fries. We were able to meet dorm mates and to get a look at the whole group of enrolled campers, and that was a comfort to us, as we were about to leave Chloe at her first sleepaway camp, without our knowing any other campers."
The experience overall was superior, and we hope to enroll again next summer. Please give consideration to a longer program! You certainly have the expertise, the facilities and the enormous appeal. All best, Barbara Dill, Chloe and Joseph Treaster
