Whether you are a youth, high school, club, or ODP Player preparing for a successful college career, the Hurricane Soccer Camp will help you realize your goals. 

The Residential Camp has a specifically designed curriculum that is demanding yet enjoyable.  The camp emphasizes individual development as a player, both technically and tactically.  Daily small-sided games give the players’ confidence, allowing them the maximum amount of time with the ball.  Alongside that, full-sided games are featured each evening and the campers will spend a demanding week in a total soccer environment.  In the 11 v. 11 and small sided competition, players will be coached in both technical aspects and tactical situations. Instruction will be ability and age specific, given by the University of Miami Coaching Staff and well as other very qualified coaches.  The camp offers daily swims at our university pool, videos, demonstrations, and a general informational college recruiting night with our University of Miami college coaches, as well as the other college coaches in attendance.

The Hurricane Soccer Camp Coaching Staff and Counselors staff also stay in the dorms, making for a very safe and secure atmosphere off the field.  There is also a certified athletic trainer available to the campers at all times, both on the field and off.  With meals in the cafeteria just adjacent to the dorm and 24 hour security the Residential Camp with one of the highest quality and safest camps around.  Campers will receive a Miami Soccer t-shirt, a certificate or participation, and an evaluation at end of camp given by her coach.  Closing ceremonies and award presentations will be held at the conclusion of camp.

GENERAL INFORMATION

ROOMMATES: Campers with roommate requests are encouraged to indicate their roommate preference during the registration process. Both campers wishing to room together must request each other. In absence of a special request, room assignments are made according to age when possible.

SUPERVISION: Participants are supervised by the coaching staff during the instructional sessions and both by the coaching staff and the summer camp housing staff when at the residence halls. Attendance is taken at all sessions, bed checks are taken at 10:30 pm, and lights are out at 11:00 pm.  Each camper is given a security card so that only they may enter the dormitory portion of the Dorms.  No parents or visitors will be allowed in the Dorms at any time with the exception of check-in and check-out.

TRANSPORTATION: Round trip transportation from Miami International Airport will be provided upon request. A $40.00 fee will be charged for this service. Please contact us with your travel itinerary if this service is needed.

TRAINERS: A staff of athletic trainers, located in a well-equipped training room, is available at all times to attend minor illnesses/injuries and dispense medication as needed.

INSURANCE: All campers must have medical insurance to participate. Accident/Medical coverage will be provided on an excess or secondary basis. The camp policy will pay for those expenses not paid for under the parents’ coverage limits, subject to camp policy coverage limits, terms, conditions and exclusions. The camp assumes no responsibility for accidents or illness.

FACILITIES: All facilities used by the Hurricane Soccer Camp are located on the University of Miami campus, and all campers will be supervised at all facilities.

CANCELLATIONS/REFUNDS: Your deposit is non-refundable. Refunds minus your deposit are only available up until 5 days prior to the beginning of camp.  Prorated rates are available at $125/day.

-Campers who attend more than 1 camp (discount applies to the second week of camp)
    
A $50 discount will apply to the following:
    · TEAM DISCOUNT 1 – Teams who bring a minimum of 10 players

A $100 discount will apply to the following: (RESIDENTIAL CAMP ONLY)
     · TEAM DISCOUNT 2 – Teams who bring a minimum of 16 players

Children and Family Members of University of Miami Athletics Department Employees may be allowed free admission.
